The Largest Tuba in the World
How about this for a tuba … 34 feet of tubing! It does play, but unfortunately the valves don’t work. Still, quite an amazing instrument!

Suicidal Trombones
Seeing as I’ve been having a few ‘whats odd on youtube’ posts, here’s another fun one.
Suicidal Trombones (their title, not mine) – see clip 1 and clip 2. Some pretty smart moves, although the trombones are just props – they don’t look like they are playing them … although I can probably think of one or two trombonists that I’ve known who probably could play and do this at the same time … mind you, occaisionally, this might happen.
And just in case you think there is something odd about trombone players, these tuba and trumpet players could set the record straight.
