Paper craft and a half

Here’s something for all you arty types out there.  If you like building from paper, this takes a bit of beating!  See it here.

Its a paper sculpture called ‘A Castle on the Ocean’ and its on display in Tokyo.

Simply amazing.

Paper Polyhedra

If you like making things and like maths, then this site is for you. It has loads (over 100) of paper ‘nets’ for printing out to make the models. It contains the platonic solids, archimedean solids and many other regular polyhedra.

Fancy a challange? Try the Rhombicosidodecahedron or how about a Small Ditrigonal Icosidodecahedron? Actually, I quite like the Snub Dodecahedron.
